On a more serious note, KenafSeed.Com is the cyber name for the various
companies and individuals working together to be your wholesale source for
quality kenaf seed. For

Is there a connection with Jupiterseed.com?
Yes,
that was the name of our original web site as Jupiter Seed was the name of the first tropical soybean variety
we developed some 30 years ago.
As the web site is now singularly focused on kenaf seed, we changed the
name so as to make it easier to find.

Why wholesale sales only?
International
trade restrictions limit our flexibility in order sizes and frequency of
shipments.
Actually the real limit is the cost that would be involved to meet small
orders given those restrictions.

Which kenaf variety will work best for me?
That’s
a tough question and depends on any number of factors.
However, a good place to start is by looking at the variety information
on the Available Varieties
page.

Where can I sell the kenaf fiber I produce?
That
is the all-important question. While
any number of companies and individuals have proven the viability of kenaf and
are developing markets for their products, that does not guarantee there is a
ready market for any fiber you produce. We
would love to sell you some seed, but please be sure you have a buyer lined up
before you invest heavily in seed or other costs. We want your repeat business, not a one-time purchase!

What if I need seed right away?
You may have difficulty getting the
seed immediately which is why we encourage potential clients to contract with us
in advance. If you find yourself in
a jam, however, send us an email and
we’ll do our best to help you locate seed with us or someone else.

How will I receive my kenaf seed?
US
customers will receive their seed F.O.B. Los Indios, TX, on the Texas border
(near Brownsville).
International customers receive their seed Ex-Works our seed warehouse in Mante, Mexico, where it is loaded directly on ocean going containers for
delivery to the port nearest you. For more information
